A Bit About Us

The vision of our non-profit started during the pandemic in 2020, however the underlying issues of which we aim to solve have been degrading and devaluing our community for at least two decades. Here at Tar River Community Development Organization, we see the value in everyone, and we know that our residents want to improve themselves and the communities that they live in, but have not been afforded the resources or opportunities.

 

One of the most important elements to fix this is affordable housing, and we plan to develop new housing and renovate vacant homes to provide more opportunities for home-ownership and quality living.

 

We are here to be a catalyst for positive change in our environment, and through working together we plan to completely overhaul and uproot the barriers that have been holding us back from prosperity, abundance, and health.
